EXTENSION SERVICE PROVIDERS (2) POSITIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Train farmers on new technologies of dairy farming.

2. Organize farm demonstrations, field days and exchange visits.

3. Report to the extension manager on matters relating to the field.

4. Identify, record and register cows into the hub herd.

5. Mobilize farmers on share contribution and milk collection.

6. Inform farmers on matters concerning the dairy.

7. Any other duty assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

    • Diploma/certificate in animal production, general agriculture, animal husbandry, Agricultural Extension Education or any other related field. Degree holders will be an added advantage.

    • Computer literate

    • Have one year working experience in a related field.

  Essential Skills Include;

    • Must be numerate, have good analytical skills and be a good team leader

    • Must have excellent communication skills

    • Must be computer literate.
