September 2019 - To date: Tarakwo Dairies Company limited as an accountant and performs several accounting and finance roles that include;
  • Preparing financial statements such as profit and loss statement, ledgers and journals
  • balance sheet and statement of cashflows.
  • Analyzing the financial statements and look for corrective measures to be taken by the
  • company. This helps the company in avoiding various risks.
  • Detailed reporting on accounts receivables and payables.
  • Help in forecasting and planning of the company projects. Also identifying threats and
  • opportunities that the company faces from the competitors and reviewing them.
  • Preparing payrolls for farmers and staff.
  • Maintaining all the accounting records and transactions for auditing purposes.
  • Maintaining company’s asset register. Also checking the movement of items in the
  • company by stock control and checking of the reorder level to avoid some items missing
  • Help in determining the cost of producing various products and also in determining the
  • prices of various items and services offered by the company.
  • Management of grants awarded to the company by various grantees.
  • Preparing and submitting of various statutory requirements such as PAYE, VAT, NSSF, NHIF and Income tax.

  • Computer literate with excellent skills in excels access and Microsoft word.
  • Speaks English and Kiswahili fluently and can also communicate the local dialect.

  • I conducted a research at Nairobi security exchange where I analyze the effects of interest rates capping passed by Kenyan government will affect listed companies and also small-scale borrowers.
  • I also conducted a research at Nairobi county government where I analyze the impact of revenue realization and allocation would affect the economic growth (GDP)
  • Also did some research on risk management using various appraisals method and which method offers the best.
I was offered a scholarship by cooperative bank of Kenya throughout my secondary school education for being the top student at my school.
